Sports & Cultural Exchange Int'l. (SCEI) is an evangelical, international, Christ-centered, faith mission, a vibrant arm of the local Bible believing church both at home and abroad. We use sports, music, medicine and construction as evangelistic tools to reach Latin America for Christ.

We are Kingdom people, a non-profit organization of born-again believers banded together to win, train, challenge and involve people in God's plan of spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ.

The 2009 SALT Ministry is currently in progress. We would appreciate your prayers for this group of 25 while they are serving in Nicaragua. They will be returning on July 4th. We will post updates as we receive reports from our team.

6/26 Update: They have averaged between 600 and 800 kids total each day between the two daily vacation Bible schools during the first week there.

7/1 Update: Everything is going very well. On Sunday we had an all day camp for kids that were basically living on there own without parents. Over 500 kids were there. It turned out awesome. We ended with a concert which was amazing for all the kids there. Many accepted Christ. The group of teens we have down here really saw how awesome God really is.

The youth group of First Baptist Church of Tracy City, TN just returned from serving in Ohio. The team, led by Daniel List, was originally scheduled to serve in Veracruz, Mexico, but had to make the difficult decision to go with our alternate plans due to challenges in that part of Mexico.

They helped a local church in Ohio by planning and leading a VBS, working on the church building project, helping with local outreach and one-on-one evangelism.
